Responsibilities
- Perform daily dog walks for clients in the Virginia Beach area, ensuring safety and exercise.
- Collect and dispense pet food and treats according to specific owner instructions.
- Maintain a clean environment by cleaning up after pets immediately.
- Monitor pet behavior for any signs of illness or distress and report to the owner or management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding pet handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by updating owners on their pet's well-being via text or app.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care, dog walking, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle are required.
- Ability to lift and carry dogs weighing up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus but not mandatory.
