Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise client dogs in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care
- Monitor pets' behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and client communication
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming sessions
- Clean and maintain equipment and walking areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Availability for early morning/evening/weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Current pet CPR/first certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Background check and clean driving record required
