Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Omaha neighborhoods
- Provide timely feeding, medication administration, and hydration
- Maintain detailed client logs and service reports
- Practice secure leash handling and pet restraint techniques
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about pet behavior
- Adhere to Omaha leash laws and safety protocols
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments (as needed)
- Monitor pet health and report any concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong physical ability to handle large breeds
