Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, coffee, and teas.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines to ensure high-quality output.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including the counter, dining room, and storage areas.
- Follow recipes and quality standards consistently for every drink.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Upsell products and suggest new seasonal offerings to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Enthusiasm for learning about coffee beans, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as required.
