Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
- Process payments via cash, credit cards, and digital wallets.
- Bag groceries and ensure order accuracy before handing over to customers.
- Handle cash deposits and maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of every shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize store operations and customer flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
