Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment with precision and safety compliance
- Manage inventory using advanced WMS systems and barcode scanning technology
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of freight
- Maintain meticulous warehouse organization and safety standards
- Process orders with 99.9% accuracy in fast-paced fulfillment operations
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in varying temperatures
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts including weekends
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Forklift experience in cold-weather environments a plus
