Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume, error-free transactions while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Lead cash handling procedures including daily reconciliation and audits
- Mentor junior staff on operational excellence and customer engagement protocols
- Process returns/exchanges with precision while maintaining brand integrity
- Operate complex POS systems including inventory management tools
- Implement upselling strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and revenue
- Monitor store security protocols and report discrepancies immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years high-volume cashier experience with cash handling certification
- Proven track record in loss prevention and reconciliation accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in modern POS systems (e.g., Square, Shopify POS)
- Exceptional communication skills with conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours with minimal supervision
- Valid state ID and clean background check required
- Basic math proficiency with 10-key typing certification preferred
