Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitical, and socioeconomic domains to identify disruptive forces through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic foresight models for long-term business resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations communicating future implications to executive stakeholders
- Lead innovation workshops and strategic forecasting sessions with global teams
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database with predictive analytics capabilities
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and disruptive technology assessment
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating completed foresight projects with measurable business impact
