Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks mapping technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Produce executive-ready scenario planning reports and strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Establish and nurture expert networks with futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Monitor and analyze geopolitical risks and opportunities affecting long-term planning
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing scenario planning frameworks for C-suite audiences
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive decision-making
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating completed foresight projects or trend analysis publications
