Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and investment theses
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation pipeline maturity and future-readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products/services
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology applications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Futures School or APF) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
