Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, cultural shifts, and geopolitical trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks for AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and product development teams
- Produce strategic foresight reports and innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Champion human-centered design principles in future-state solutioning
- Build external partnerships with think tanks, academic institutions, and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research roles
- Deep expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership on technology disruption or societal transformation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex strategic initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex insights to diverse audiences
