Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience solutions
- Facilitate executive workshops using scenario planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic pivots
- Author annual 'FutureState' reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurist thought leaders and academic pioneers
- Oversee $2M+ annual innovation fund allocation to high-potential emerging ventures
- Mentor cross-functional teams in 'future-proofing' methodologies for product development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite decisions with future-oriented frameworks
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or major industry publications
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and stakeholder ecosystems
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
