As a key member of our leadership team, you'll collaborate with global R&D partners, Fortune 500 clients, and academic institutions to identify paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems. Your work will directly influence product development, market positioning, and long-term growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership reports and white papers published in industry-leading journals
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Quantify market opportunities and risks associated with emerging tech trends
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into business strategy
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused projects delivered 2020-2025
