Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and market positioning
- Champion a culture of experimentation by prototyping future-focused initiatives
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints to validate future concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global forums
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, foresight consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products/services
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within tech, academia, and policy circles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working in agile environments with rapid prototyping cycles
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
