Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product development
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into innovation processes
- Produce executive-level trend reports and competitive intelligence briefings
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate emerging market opportunities
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor R&D teams in applying foresight methodologies to product design
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis and predictive modeling tools
- Global perspective with cross-cultural industry experience
