Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for executive stakeholders and industry publications
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of innovation partners including startups, VCs, and academic institutions
- Quantify future opportunity landscapes through scenario modeling and market simulation
- Advise product development teams on integrating emerging tech (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
