Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for next-generation markets
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to integrate future trends into product roadmaps
- Establish industry thought leadership through keynote presentations and published research
- Mentor teams in strategic foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong data visualization and scenario planning skills with tools like Trendalyzer or Foresight Platform
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or APF)
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation incubation
