Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 5-10 year strategic plans
- Lead innovation workshops and scenario planning sessions with executive stakeholders
- Build and manage partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property frameworks for future innovations
- Create technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven experience forecasting tech trends and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling skills
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation abilities
- Published research or thought leadership in future tech domains
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
