Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies including quantum algorithms and carbon-negative AI
- Architect scalable solutions for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and technology incubators
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advise on regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record in launching commercialized AI/quantum solutions
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex technical architecture
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CTO, CIO) preferred
- Prior experience in Austin or Texas tech ecosystem advantageous
