Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects with $5M+ annual budget
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technical architects
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record of scaling innovative products/services from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation ecosystems
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing cross-functional teams
