Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-generation technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, Web4.0)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential within 3-5 year cycles
- Develop go-to-market strategies for breakthrough technologies, including patent landscapes and competitive positioning
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and industry consortia
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with proven impact on tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or decentralized systems)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Track record of launching or scaling technology initiatives with >$50M impact
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market dynamics
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Technology Roadmapping)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, or equivalent)
