Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Future Technology Strategist to architect InnovateNext Labs' roadmap for 2026 and beyond. As a key member of our C-suite advisory team, you'll collaborate with R&D, product development, and executive leadership to transform futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies. Your insights will directly shape multi-year technology investments and competitive advantage in rapidly evolving markets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future solutions using emerging tech stacks
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with quantified ROI projections
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of tech startups, research labs, and academic partners
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption landscapes
- Drive internal workshops to cultivate future-thinking capabilities across all departments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA with specialization in tech strategy
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to business audiences
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing R&D portfolios
- Certifications in technology management (e.g., CTO Academy, IEEE Future Tech Leadership)
