Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AGI) for commercial viability
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic labs and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Drive ethical framework development for emerging tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Prior experience scaling tech teams from 50 to 500+ employees
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
