Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap prioritizing quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations with 90%+ approval rate
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and DARPA for collaborative R&D
- Conduct competitive analysis in quantum supremacy and AI governance domains
- Manage $1M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ products)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or CRISPR applications
- Published 5+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants with $5M+ total funding
- Professional certification in Technology Strategy from Stanford/MIT
