Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, and decentralized networks
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, ethicists, and business analysts to prototype next-gen solutions
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through persuasive stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and ISO standards bodies for regulatory alignment
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and anticipate paradigm shifts in AI governance and space exploration
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 clients on emerging technology adoption pathways
- Mentor junior researchers in patent development and technology commercialization strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years in strategic tech planning
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain DOE/NASA-level clearance
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations in quantum/AI fields
- Fluency in Mandarin and Arabic for international stakeholder negotiations
- Certified in ISO 42001 (AI Management) and CMMC (Cybersecurity)
- Portfolio demonstrating minimum 3 patented technologies with $50M+ market impact
