Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, blockchain) and assess commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across 3 core business units
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology priorities
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M innovation budget for pilot projects in emerging tech domains
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech consulting or corporate innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching successful tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology investment analysis
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and boards
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI) a plus
