Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with market trends and company vision
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future product opportunities and innovation gaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Analyze competitive landscapes and anticipate disruptive threats/opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends and translating them into business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating past strategic initiatives or innovation projects
