Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions (AR/VR, neuromorphic chips, carbon-negative AI)
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring regulatory compliance and societal benefit
- Partner with R&D to commercialize lab innovations within 18-month cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market saturation
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and investors with data-backed adoption projections
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological ROI and innovation velocity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven 2020s tech adoption track record
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology Review
- Certified in Futures Thinking (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience scaling technology startups from Series B to IPO
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of at least two emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of 2026 regulatory landscapes across 10+ jurisdictions
