Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and emerging innovations
- Analyze quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence to identify high-impact opportunities
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech strategies into corporate vision and KPIs
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies including Web4.0 and neural interfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members using data-driven frameworks
- Manage innovation incubator programs for emerging technologies with $5M+ annual budget
- Drive thought leadership through white papers and conference speaking engagements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, biotech, or AR/VR
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published research or patents in future technologies (3+ required)
