- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech) for competitive advantage
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with 18-24 month commercialization timelines
- Present strategic frameworks to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Establish Future Intelligence Network recruiting global thought leaders and domain experts
- Drive scenario planning for disruptive market shifts and black swan events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in tech/future-focused roles
- Proven track record developing multi-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and market adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Strategy, Futures Studies, or Technology Management (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on disruptive innovation (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Experience managing $10M+ innovation portfolios with measurable ROI
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Backcasting)
