What you'll do: Lead horizon scanning initiatives, develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps, foster cross-functional innovation ecosystems, and drive pilot programs for emerging technologies. You'll quantify ROI for innovation investments and present strategic blueprints to stakeholders while staying ahead of market disruptors.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a comprehensive 2026 innovation strategy aligned with organizational vision
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop quantitative frameworks for evaluating future market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation labs with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year future-state roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology preferred
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CEIM, CPSM) required
- Experience in high-growth tech or Fortune 500 environments
