Responsibilities
- Execute flawless event setup/breakdown including decor, AV equipment, and seating arrangements
- Provide exceptional guest services including registration, wayfinding, and real-time problem resolution
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain event timelines and quality standards
- Manage crowd control and ensure compliance with safety protocols during high-traffic events
- Deliver VIP experiences through personalized attention to high-profile clients and guests
- Conduct post-event venue restoration and inventory reconciliation
- Document event operations through digital checklists and incident reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event hospitality, catering, or venue operations
- Proven ability to stand 8+ hours and lift 50+ lbs consistently
- Excellent communication skills with ability to de-escalate situations professionally
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of event technology (registration systems, AV setups)
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team cohesion
- Must pass background check and drug screening
