Responsibilities
- Exercise & Walk: Provide daily walks and exercise for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they get the physical activity they need.
- Pet Care: Feed pets according to specific dietary schedules and provide fresh water throughout the day.
- Observation: Monitor pet behavior and health for any changes, reporting concerns immediately to the pet owners.
- Hygiene: Maintain a clean environment by promptly cleaning up waste during walks and ensuring kennels are tidy.
- Administration: Manage pet logs, feeding schedules, and medication administration if required.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with pet parents regarding their dog's day.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a dog walker, pet sitter, or in animal care.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work full-time hours as scheduled.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk up to 2 miles per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and have no history of violence or animal abuse.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
