Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proven handling techniques
- Administer medications and special care instructions as directed
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our app
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each dog's health and behavior
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming services
- Implement emergency protocols for medical incidents or escapes
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong communication skills with tech proficiency
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Passion for animal welfare with excellent references
- Availability for morning/evening/weekend shifts
