Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Bakersfield neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed client records and service logs
- Ensure pets' safety and comfort during all activities
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about service updates
- Adhere to company safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Transport pets (with company vehicle) for vet visits or grooming
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and smartphone for communication
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
