Responsibilities
- Perform daily walking and exercise routines for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets at all times during walks and in the home.
- Administer medications and special care instructions as directed by pet owners.
- Feed pets and provide fresh water according to schedules.
- Monitor and report any changes in pet behavior or health to the owner immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of services performed and any incidents that occur.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating regularly with pet owners via app or text.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet care, dog walking, or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle are required.
- Strong passion for animals and a genuine love for dogs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle energetic or large breeds.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- First Aid and CPR certification for pets is a plus.
