Responsibilities
- Execute Daily Walks: Safely and enthusiastically walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they get the exercise they need.
- Provide Care & Feeding: Monitor pets for any health issues or behavioral changes during walks and report back to owners.
- Animal Handling: Securely leash and handle dogs, ensuring safety for both the pet and the public.
- House Sitting & Pet Sitting: Occasionally assist with feeding, watering, and basic pet care in the owner's home if required.
- Hygiene & Cleanup: Always clean up after pets immediately and maintain a high standard of cleanliness during visits.
- Client Communication: Provide timely updates via our app, including photos and notes on how the pet is doing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic rules while walking.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience with dog walking or pet sitting is preferred but not required; a genuine passion for animals is essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and responsible with the care of pets.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to walk 1-2 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs if necessary.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use technology (smartphone apps) for reporting.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is highly preferred for traveling between appointments.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check.
