Responsibilities
- Walk Dogs: Provide safe, daily exercise walks for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they remain on a leash and under control at all times.
- Pet Hygiene: Clean up after pets immediately during walks using waste bags provided.
- Client Communication: Update owners via text or app regarding the dog's mood, bathroom habits, and general well-being.
- Feeding & Care: Administer food and water as instructed by the owner, ensuring pets are comfortable and safe in their environment.
- Security Checks: Ensure all gates are closed and locks are secured before leaving a client's property.
- Reporting: Document any issues or behavioral changes observed during the walk.
Qualifications
- Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and a patient, friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to walk up to 2-3 miles per day and lift moderate weights.
- Experience: Prior experience with dogs (especially puppies or senior dogs) is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check as part of our safety protocols.
