Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise multiple dogs simultaneously in urban and park settings
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic grooming as needed
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each pet's behavior, health, and activities
- Build strong relationships with pet owners through regular communication and photo updates
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or playdates when required
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures during all outings
- Participate in weekend and holiday shifts to ensure comprehensive coverage
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk 5+ miles daily in various weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data access
- Positive attitude and passion for animal welfare
