Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 1-3 dogs at a time in designated Omaha neighborhoods and parks
- Provide premium care including feeding, medication administration, and playtime as requested
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each dog's behavior, health, and activity
- Communicate professionally with clients via our app regarding walk updates and concerns
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling all breeds and sizes
- Attend monthly training sessions on pet behavior and emergency procedures
- Manage scheduling efficiently through our mobile platform
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality with 100% on-time arrival rate
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and incident reporting
- Ability to handle large, strong dogs confidently and safely
- Own reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Positive attitude and passion for animal welfare
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
