Responsibilities
- Provide safe, on-leash walking and exercise for dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, medication supervision, waste cleanup)
- Maintain detailed client logs and activity reports via mobile app
- Implement positive reinforcement training techniques during walks
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns promptly
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments (as needed)
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work outdoors in Corpus Christi's coastal climate
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language
- Must be available mornings/evenings/weekends
