Responsibilities
- Provide daily exercise and companionship for dogs through scheduled walks and play sessions
- Safely transport pets to parks, trails, and other designated areas using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain detailed activity logs and communicate client updates via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as per owner instructions
- Ensure pet safety through leash management and environmental awareness
- Build strong relationships with clients and their beloved pets
- Participate in ongoing training for pet first aid and behavior management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commuting (mileage reimbursed)
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Strong physical fitness to handle active breeds
- Background check and drug test required
