Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups, ensuring proper leash control and handling
- Monitor pets for health/behavioral changes and document observations
- Clean up after pets and maintain clean walking equipment/areas
- Adhere to client-specific care instructions and schedule requirements
- Transport pets to/from designated locations using company vehicles
- Build trust with pets through positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate effectively with owners via daily photo/video updates
- Maintain accurate walk logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in extreme weather
- Reliable transportation to El Paso locations
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Background check required
