Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and comfort
- Adhere to client-specific walking routes, duration, and handling preferences
- Monitor pets for health/wellness concerns and document observations
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication, potty breaks) as requested
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments or grooming services
- Maintain detailed client communication via app updates and photos
- Uphold strict cleanliness standards during walks and transport
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR certification required
- Ability to safely manage dogs up to 80 pounds
- Strong time management with punctuality-focused mindset
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Reliable personal vehicle with pet-safe equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
