Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups across Buffalo's neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic pet first aid
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet behavior and care routines
- Manage scheduling via our proprietary mobile app with GPS tracking
- Transport pets to vet appointments and dog-friendly parks
- Upsell premium services like pet sitting and training
- Attend monthly safety certifications and animal behavior workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for pet transport
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily in various weather conditions
