Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise dogs of various breeds and sizes safely and responsibly.
- Collect and properly dispose of waste during all walks.
- Ensure dogs are well-hydrated and remain on leash throughout the duration of the shift.
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress, illness, or injury and report immediately.
- Provide basic obedience guidance and ensure dogs return home safely.
- Document feeding times and any behavioral notes in our mobile app.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on duty.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with dogs is not required; a passion for animals is essential.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs to handle larger breeds safely.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must pass a background check and provide proof of vaccinations.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills with pet owners.
