Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing all sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and assist them in finding products they need.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bag merchandise carefully and ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and alerting management when items are low.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions without error.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
