Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee beverages using precise techniques and premium ingredients
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness and organization of the barista station and customer areas
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems with efficiency and care
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless service flow
- Contribute to inventory management and uphold quality control standards
- Participate in ongoing coffee education and seasonal menu development
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Outstanding communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible availability including weekends and early morning shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Passion for coffee culture and commitment to continuous learning
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
