Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks using premium beans and precise techniques
- Engage warmly with customers, memorizing preferences and building genuine relationships
- Maintain pristine cleanliness across espresso machines, workstations, and customer areas
- Process POS transactions efficiently while upselling seasonal promotions
- Collaborate with baristas to ensure seamless peak-hour operations
- Support inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and health regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience required
- Proficiency with espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Exceptional customer service with proven ability to handle high-volume rushes
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
