Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm, welcoming demeanor and personalized recommendations
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards across all coffee stations and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours
- Engage with customers to build relationships and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies and retail products
- Participate in regular training sessions to master new recipes and brewing methods
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience with proven expertise in espresso preparation
- Deep passion for coffee culture with knowledge of bean origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for creating genuine customer connections
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays as required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing sales data
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
